Using the online Calendar The web version of the Compass calendar is a live calendar, so will show the current month that you view it. To change the month, look in the left hand side of the calendar under the compass email address is a down arrow. Click it and select a month. The right hand side of the calendar has four options: Print, Week, Month and Agenda.
electronic world, there are a number of new additional options to use access the Canterbury Compass. Google Calendar is being used as the primary electronic calendar. This will allow you to access the Canterbury Compass via your own Google account, synchronise with your smart phone, Outlook and desktop computer. To synchronise the Canterbury Compass with your personal diaries please contact me with your name, lodge details and gmail account details. I will then give you access to the Calendar via your Google account and details of how to synchronise the calendar. Secretaries: You can still send information in the regular manner with the exception of Fax, which is no longer available. If you would like an automated email notifying you that your meeting details have been received, either use the web form at http: //www.avonlodge185.com/compassdata or if directly emailing your details use the following subject “Meeting Date” but don’t include the speech marks. For web savvy secretaries who would like to directly manage your lodge details in the online calendar, please contact me with name, lodge details and gmail account details.
